Ceramic and stone tile is a durable and practical addition to any home and, if properly maintained, can provide years of beauty and service for your home. Upon installation, your installer no doubt recommended that the new grout (and unglazed tile) be sealed with a quality sealant to protect your investment.

However, over time, normal wear and tear can break down the sealant, leaving your tile and grout vulnerable to stains and ground-in dirt and germs.

Ideally, these protective sealants should be reapplied periodically, but only to thoroughly-cleaned tile and grout. Most household cleaners are ineffective at providing an adequate cleaning and can, in fact, be harmful to the tile and grout.

The Pro-Clean, The Cleaning Specialist, LLC tile and grout cleaning process starts with a base alkaline pre-treatment, which is applied with sprayer. The tile is then agitated with a brush to loosen the dirt, then washed with a dome vacuum with dual spinning pressure washers. The tile is then rinsed and the soiled water spin-vacuumed into a truck mount.

For deeply soiled grout, a special ph-balanced acid for grout cleaning will be tested and used, agitated and washed in the same manner.

In cases where the grout is too stained, it will need to be ground out and replaced at an additional charge.
